America's Deadliest Biological Weapon

USA-*-GI and Patriot-R must stop a biological terror from being unleashed on American soil.

BLACK HOPS tells the tale of U.S.A-*-G.I. , the dauntless, highly trained special missions rabbit who has worked with the United States military to take out high-profile targets for over half a century. Found in the atomic aftermath of World War II, the leporid that would eventually be U.S.A.-*-G.I. began to display abilities that superseded those typified for his species. These include but are not limited to:

  • Sub-human intelligence
  • Increased strength
  • Indefinite longevity
  • Optic camouflage
  • Communication with animals in and outside his own species

Task Force 22114 -- codenamed BLACK HOPS -- was commissioned by President Dwight D. Eisenhower and is the revolving support team that has escorted U.S.A.-*-G.I. on missions throughout the years.

BUNS OF THE PATRIOTS:

After being decommissioned in the early 21st century, U.S.A.-*-G.I. retired to his family's home at the Freling Ranch in Belton, Texas.

It wasn't long before duty called once again, and he was sent into the heart of North Korea to prevent a ballistic missile from striking Hawaii in the morning hours of January 13, 2018.

HARE TRIGGER:

At 1900 hours on July 3, 2019, the private military group Ningen (which was originally hired to protect the underground military base on Hart Island, New York) seized control of the island and the R&D being conducted in its underwater facilities. The leader of Ningen, Hare Trigger, has partnered with the paperclipped bio-terrorist leader, Apex Moth, who was being held captive underneath the island for his invaluable research.

U.S.A.-*-G.I. and Task Force 22114 have a three-fold objective:

  • Destroy all biological weapons
  • Cut off all possible escape routes
  • Detain or eliminate Apex Moth and Hare Trigger

This time, U.S.A.-*-G.I will not be alone: he is joined by newcomers Patriot-R and Rigor Tortoise, who each have origins of their own.

What You'll Get:

Black Hops: Hare Trigger is both a direct sequel and a soft reboot, good for new readers as well as those who enjoyed the first volume.This 68 page book tells one cohesive tale with two artists following U.S.A.-*-G.I. , Patriot-R, Rigor Tortoise, and Penelope separately in a unique form of visual and physical storytelling.
